Term 4, Back to the Dojo

Evolution Jujutsu is resuming classes at the Dojo for Term 4. This is in line with the NSW Governments plan to reopen at 70% double vaccination. (currently estimated to occur on October 11.) The details and requirements are outlined below. We will be starting with two days a week, Wednesday and Saturday.
Please note until the 11th of October the online classes will continue. The Tuesday class will be moved to Wednesday for term 4, commencing next week.

Kids Classes (5-7 & 8-11 years)
Starting: First Wednesday after NSW reaches 70% (Likely 13th October)
Times: Wednesday 4:00pm – 5:00pm, Saturday 12:00pm – 1:00pm
How:
– Classes will be socially distanced.
– Children aged under 12 years are not required to wear a mask but are encouraged to wear one where practicable.
– Instructors will be required to be fully vaccinated.
– All students will need to check-in using the COVID safe QR code check-in.

Teenage & Adults Classes
Starting: First Wednesday after NSW reaches 70% (Likely 13th October)
Times: Wednesday 5:00pm – 6:00pm, Saturday 10:30am – 12:00pm.
How:
– Classes will be socially distanced.
– Instructors and students will be required to be fully vaccinated.
– You will need to wear a mask.
– All students will need to check in using the COVID safe QR code check-in.

Evolution Jujutsu Health and Safety Precautions
When classes resume, to maintain the health and safety of instructors and students, Evolution Jujutsu will have the following in place:
All students, instructors and visitors are to use hand sanitiser on arrival and when exiting the Dojo.
The Dojo training area will be set up to adhere to the 4-square metre rule.
Only 15 people per class at one time. (including instructor)
Social distancing will be observed where practicable in the hall.
Any equipment used will be sprayed with disinfectant spray at the end of each day.
Hand sanitiser will be provided.
All instructors, students and parents will have their attendance recorded.
Personal Responsibility
The following health and safety precautions will need to be observed:
Make sure to clean your hands thoroughly for at least 20 seconds with soap and water, or use an alcohol-based hand sanitiser.
If you are sick, stay home. This includes any minor symptoms such as sore throat, cough, fever.
If you start to feel unwell, please notify Sensei Nick immediately.
Social distancing to be observed where practical.
Do not share any personal equipment.

We will continue to monitor the COVID-19 situation while NSW reopens. Our primary goals to maintain a safe and healthy training environment for all students and instructors.
